His tennis career started at the age of 10 competing in tournaments across his home city of Manchester and up and down the country also representing Trafford in the 2004 Youth Games.

At the age of 16 David got accepted into Bisham Abbeys WIN Tennis academy where he trained and competed with some of the best ITF players from the UK and abroad.

After many years of playing David decided to take all his knowledge and apply it into coaching where he has been the Head coach of his local tennis club, and coached at David Lloyd leisure clubs.

While being head coach for BDM Sports, David has coached on a variety of different projects across Manchester.

Olivia Taylor

Olivia is in her final year at Edge Hill university doing primary education.

She holds a strong interest in how children develop and the importance of guided play.

She grew up in Urmston and has played football all her life for a variety of different clubs. Her love for seeing children participate in all sports whilst learning new skills is what motivated her to get into teaching.

As well as sport she has a passion for crafts and letting her imagination go wild and getting very messy of course!

Zachary Blanc

Zachary is a young coach who has experience coaching gymnastics over the past 7 years as well as a strong footballing background. He has been playing and coaching for 10 plus years and has helped develop and improve a range of the younger generation to help them strive in the direction of sporting success.

His sporting career started from a very young age and he has had a passion for it his entire life. Throughout, his teenage years Zachary was accepted into a Football Scholarship program to help further develop his footballing ability with the opportunity to go out to America to showcase his abilities abroad.

At 16, Zachary decided to take his personal experiences and get into coaching where he felt he could combine his own experiences and knowledge he had gained from his coaches to start as both a gymnastic and football coach side by side.

While still only being young himself, Zachary has managed to coach in a variety of different schools and with projects across the Manchester region.

“BDM sports have been with us at River View for almost a year now. They provide us with high quality KS1 PE, a KS2 after school multi-sports club and also work to develop our Y6 playground leaders. BDM sports work closely with us to support our planned curriculum activities, whilst completing end of unit assessments for each child. The children love working with ‘coach Dan’ and look forward to their Thursday afternoons.”
